Form x Materiality
My task was to create a set of poster designs for two Melbourne landmarks, using materiality and positive and negative space to effectively communicate the form of each landmark, while adhering to the restriction of using only four colours for each poster.
This assessment aimed to learn how to use materiality and positive and negative space to communicate an object’s form effectively. By responding to the design question, “How might we use form and materiality to communicate a sense of a landmark?” I explored how to use these principles to showcase the essence of Melbourne landmarks.
